Alessia Commisso and her family for a plate of pasta and an evening of laughter in her honour on June 27, 2008, in support of the Alessia Commisso’s Trust Fund.

Alessia Commisso is one of five people globally to have been diagnosed with a rare condition called Leigh’s Disease, a Mitochondria disorder.  As a result, she has limited motor skills  where she cannot walk or stand up on her own.  She requires a wheelchair for mobility and supervision 24/7.  Read more under  “Alessia’s Story”.
